Carrier Operations Specialist - After hours Direct message the job poster from PRIMO About the role: The Carrier Operations Specialist - AFTER HOURS is responsible for covering assigned freight loads by leveraging strong carrier relationships to secure capacity quickly and at competitive market rates. This role works closely with internal sales teams to ensure excellent service, timely communication, and smooth load execution, while upholding PRIMO’s core values of honesty, tenacity, and respect. Responsibilities Develop new carrier relationships and grow existing ones through lead generation, cold calling, and referrals. Negotiate rates, drive efficiency, and manage accessorial charges with carriers. Ensure all shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system. Identify load issues and collaborate cross-functionally to implement effective solutions. Maintain clear and proactive communication with internal teams to resolve challenges on time. Requirements Technical degree or bachelor’s in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, or related fields. At least 6 months of experience in the supply chain industry (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced English level required. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship‑building skills.
