**Field Application Data IT Specialist**

Our Colombia subsidiary is looking for a Field Application Data IT Specialist who will work within the Customer Service department and will report to [Manager]
- The Field Application Data IT Specialist is part of the backbone of our efforts to fight the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). He will bring our Data-IT solutions to their full potential, supporting the Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASP) of our customers._

**What will be your responsibilities within BioMérieux ?**
- Pre-sales phase:

- Support sales team in tender processes
- Support on request with demos and expertise on Lab organization
- Implementation phase:

- Assess and optimize customer data workflow in key-complex accounts
- Help with our customers ASP requirements with our IT Solutions or gathering relevant needs to improve our offer
- Manage configuration for Lab and Clinical users
- Train and educate key users
- Continuous Improvement of our IT Solutions
- Support phase:

- Be the second level support of customer in case of question and issue in key accounts
- Train the trainer for our IT Solutions
- Work with the guidance of IT Solutions, Medical affairs, and the Marketing Team
- Promote HL7 connections to our customers and partners
- Contribute to action plans for critical situations and or contribute to task force
- Collaborate with our partners (Partners, LIS & HIS companies, Patient files,) to improve communication and data exchange

**Who are you ?**
- Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or bacteriology, or other health related (or equivalent professional work experience)
- At least 2 years of working experience in Information Technology for Infectious diseases
- WHONET software, manage and use of clinical epidemiology information
- AMS Experience is a plus: proven experience in a health organization
- Background in data management is a plus: middleware, interoperability, Data Analytics tools, and connectivity to health IT solutions
- Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is a plus
- Curious, able to learn by him/herself, open to new technologies.

- Ability to analyze, recommend, and challenge proposals to create the most effective solutions.
- Good written and oral communication, efficiency to deliver clear messages
- Team player
- Sense of autonomy and (self-)discipline
- Good organizational skills/ability to multi-task.
- Agility and capacity to work under pressure and in a moving and challenging environment.
- Fluent in English: oral and written.
- Willing to travel: up to 60%
