Summary*
The Media Payables Coordinator is an integral member of the Media Payables team and is responsible for approving payments and reviewing the fulfillment of advertising contracts (specifically, TV, Radio, Newspaper and Event advertising) of internal and external vendors. This person should be self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn; with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize.

Challenges*
- Approve vendor payments and ensure that the payables are maintained in an effective, up to date, and accurate manner.
- Review and verify invoices as compared to advertising contracts (specifically, TV, Radio, Newspaper and Event advertising).
- Help manage daily payments to vendors (check, credit card, ACH)
- Correspond with vendors; respond to inquiries; resolve invoice discrepancies; request missing invoices.
- Reconcile vendor payments and vendor invoices.
- Place custom and scheduled orders for retailers (charging the retailer).
- Process credits and refunds of retailer orders, as requested.
- Maintain the vendor database updated as well as vendor info in team drive.
- Assist with the preparation and disbursement of 1099s.
- Provide support to MBC and AM functions, as needed.
- Assist in month end closing, as needed.
- Assist with intercompany reconciliation inquiries, as needed.
- Various ad hoc analysis and reporting.
- Become fully educated and continue education upkeep with SproutNet features and functionality.
- Perform other duties, special projects and tasks, as needed.
