Under the direction of the Claims Manager and Director of Operations (HHG), investigates and adjudication of claims for personal property loss or damage for household goods and commercial moves. The analyst ensures proactive and immediate resolution of claims settlements, communications and correspondence with claimants, as well as subrogation against responsible parties.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3 years of related experience or training as a claims processor, adjuster, insurance advocate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Claims Analyst designation preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Good math skills
- Household goods or moving related experience preferred.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, and database management experience to include statistical presentations and calculations.
- Great English, written and spoken.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Claims Management: register, examine, and process claims for State Department, military, international, and commercial household goods and office.
- Customer Relations: interviews and corresponds with claimants and involved parties; and inspects or assesses property damage to determine extent of company's liability, varying method of investigation according to type of claim.
- Claims Analysis: prepares report of findings and negotiates resolution/settlement with claimant; forwards claim forms to Claims Manager for approval.
- Coordinates third-party repair services as needed.
- Investigates costs for parts, materials, or property services in accordance with approved practice.
- Requests claims reimbursement checks from Accounting/Billing Department for responsive and immediate resolution to claimants.
- Tracing/Returning of Lost Items: conducts research to locate reported lost items and makes arrangements for return delivery to customer as required.
- Determination of responsible party and assessment of chargeback.
- Claims data analysis to identify trends to report to Operations for claims prevention.

**Salary**: $1,000,000 - $3,000,000 per month
