Water Business Line Manager Colombia

AECOM Colombia seeks a Water Business Manager who will lead market expansion and support projects for water business line clients in the Colombia market. Spearheading the expansion of commercial efforts, the Water Business Manager will also provide leadership with planning, designing, and preparing plans related to water business line planning and infrastructure.

**Workday Job Description**:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Oversight of water resources projects delivery including but not limited to water/wastewater treatment plants, master plans, conveyance systems, river restoration, H&H studies, floodplain modeling and mapping studies, and transportation drainage design.

+ Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes AECOM’s capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.

+ Participates in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and the preparation of AECOM's qualification/experience statements.

+ Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.

+ Directs project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitors subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.

+ Prepares project work plan, scope, schedule, and budget, and communicates these to project team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

+ May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff including workload and staffing management.

+ Monitors and reports financial status of projects to technical managers.

+ Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS in Water Resources, Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering + 10 years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field

+ Fifteen (15) or more years of related experience

+ Ten (10) or more years performing project management and business development

+ Professional Engineering license in Colombia

+ Experience and familiarity with water related projects design, planning, and management
