We are the TaaS team and we create testing frameworks, tools, methodologies and enablers for the rest of the company and product teams within Santander UK.

We identify necessities and good practices, and the tools to achieve it, and if they don’t exist, we design, develop, and deliver to the QA community. And of course, we provide support in all of them.

This is a customer facing thought leader role, where you will be part of a team responsible to implement the automation testing best practice across multiples projects.

- Promoting business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility, automation and integration with technology
- Strategising and implementing DevOps, Application Lifecycle Management and Agile Solutions in large Enterprises
- Contributing towards the implementation and adhere to continuous integration practices, including build automation, test automation, fast builds and clean build maintenanceWhat you’ll bring.
- Experience of Development Test Frameworks for Web/API/Mobile and Performance Testing
- Experience of using various technologies for automaton/DevOps pipelining; this includes exposure to a range of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) technologies.
- Experience using Open source automation tools (selenium, appium)
- Extensive operations experience in either Linux or Windows operating systems In-depth
two major clouds: AWS, OpenStack
- Probe experience with references implementing on customers projects using some of the next technologies: Atllasian Stack (JIRA, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Groovy, Nexus, Confluence), Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Mac OSX, Windows, iOS, Android, AWS, Docker, Python
- Strong on any language like Java, javascript, Python. Collaborate with automation engineering teams to define and implement best practices.

It would also be nice for you to have.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge or hands on of using Kibana
- Experience of building metrics and automated systems for gathering/analysing quality checkpoints.
- Ability to work in a team with shared responsibilities. Grasp of monitoring tools, approach and implementation

What else you need to know.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role is currently office based/Home based until corona virus restrictions are lifted when there will be an expectation to travel to the office.

This is a permanent role based in Milton Keynes.
