The difference you’ll make.
- Driving a proportional and effective risk approach on the end-to-end cost process ensuring stakeholders understand issues and how to improve the future position.
- Providing full transparency of all challenges, risks and opportunities, embedded challenges and supporting the business in creating detailed plans to address them.
- Consulting on transformation activity and ensures design principles limit duplication and controls weakness.
- Managing policy including delegated authority listing (permissions) and oversight/ implementation of the robust controls framework maintained by the business.
- Collaborating with Category analytics lead to deliver policy compliance metrics.
- Owning procurement forums including the Deal Review Forum ensuring all contributors provide pertinent documentation to be issued in advance to attendees.

What you’ll bring.
- Excellent influencing, stakeholder management and prioritisation skills
- Experience in risk or audit

It would also be nice for you to have.
- Able to undertake complex analytical/modelling techniques; deal with complex issues and able to undertake special be-spoke analysis when requested
- Understanding of digital advancement initiatives within cost management functions
- Experience in procurement

What else you need to know.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or videoconference where possible.

Although situated in Milton Keynes, this role is adopting a Hybrid approach with a mixture of working in the office and from home.
