Job Description

The Creative QA Analyst will be responsible for QA emails/banners/print/videos from the agency. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the latest Adobe CC Suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. The CQA will be skilled in testing emails/banners/print/videos, having experience in banners and familiarity with DoubleClick & Flashtalking.

  1. Defining the test plans and processes for the business.
  2. Testing emails and documents, creating issues in JIRA and assigning appropriately to the development team, and seeing issues through to resolution.
  3. Producing high-quality bug reports covering description, reproduction steps, and severity.
  4. Very detail-oriented both creatively and functionality-wise.
  5. Work closely with development and project management teams.
  6. Strong communication skills that foster good relationships with the entire team.
  7. Manually test a variety of digital work including both desktop and mobile.
  8. Cross-browser and cross-device testing.
  9. This role involves close collaboration with designers and stakeholders to assess and enhance creative materials, ensuring they meet the highest standards and align with brand guidelines.
  10. Track defects using JIRA; manage project defect reports.
  11. Validate visual elements match creative layouts.
  12. Monitor and analyze technical specifications to extrapolate for QA needs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • English Level B2 Upper Intermediate.
  • Prepare and update QA documents for testing.
  • Experience testing on multiple platforms including MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
  • Must be able to compare a creative comp against a variety of platforms and be very detailed.
  • Familiarity with design software and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS.
  • Perform daily QA tasks (defect tracking, testing, etc.).
  • Testing tools: Email on Acid, Litmus & Cross-browser.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience testing Accessibility.
  • Experience with Creative Testing.
  • Experience with email testing.
