Overview

The Creative QA Analyst will be responsible for QA emails, banners, print, and videos from the agency. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the latest Adobe CC Suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

The CQA will be skilled in testing emails, banners, print, and videos, with experience in banners and familiarity with DoubleClick and Flashtalking.

Responsibilities

- Defining the test plans and processes for the business.
- Testing emails and documents, creating issues in JIRA and assigning appropriately to the development team, and seeing issues through to resolution.
- Producing high-quality bug reports covering description, reproduction steps, and severity.
- Being very detail-oriented both creatively and functionally.
- Working closely with development and project management teams.
- Exhibiting strong communication skills that foster good relationships with the entire team.
- Manually testing a variety of digital work including both desktop and mobile.
- Conducting cross-browser and cross-device testing.
- Collaborating closely with designers and stakeholders to assess and enhance creative materials, ensuring they meet the highest standards and align with brand guidelines. Tracking defects using JIRA; managing project defect reports.
- Validating visual elements to ensure they match creative layouts.
- Monitoring and analyzing technical specifications to extrapolate for QA needs.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- English Level B2 Upper Intermediate.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Sketch).
- Preparing and updating QA documents for testing.
- Experience testing on multiple platforms including MacOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
- Ability to compare a creative comp against a variety of platforms with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with design software and basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Performing daily QA tasks (defect tracking, testing, etc.).
- Using testing tools: Email on Acid, Litmus, and Crossbrowser.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience testing Accessibility.
- Experience with Creative Testing.
- Experience with email testing.

Key Skills:

- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Capable of working as a team player.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience with design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Good communication skills.
- A good understanding of JIRA.
