Role: Bilingual Customer Service Representative | Healthcare Background Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time Contract Type: Indefinite Term | 40 hours per week Start date: January 5, 2026 Schedule: Monday to Friday– 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Colombian Time, with schedule flexibility as needed. Training: From 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Colombian Time. Note: Works on Colombian holidays. Job Description: Bilingual Medical Receptionist (English/Spanish) is responsible for managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting patients with medical inquiries, all while providing exceptional customer service and translating between English and Spanish. Responsibilities : Collect complete patient’s demographic information; full name, address, email, phone numbers, and complete insurance information; ID/policy number, guarantor information Verify patient’s preferred pharmacy and imaging in QuickView Verify patient demographics and insurance info during every call Make reminder calls for appointments. Call patients for follow-up appointments Collect all copays, outstanding balances Call to remind patients of outstanding balances. Remind patients of any upcoming appointments and or collect balances before ending every call Review scheduling guidelines and schedule notes before scheduling appointments. Collect complete messages and send them to the appropriate medical team. Skills, knowledge & expertise: At least 6 months in the BPO supporting both English and Spanish-speaking callers Previous experience in healthcare programs preferred. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
