Position Overview:
The Supervisor, Human Resources is responsible for overseeing daily operations and managing team members within an HR department. This role also supports the department manager and leads a team of employees. The supervisor should be well-versed in the specific HR practice areas relevant to their responsibilities.
Scope: This position typically involves managing a small team and/or handling tasks of low complexity.
You're Good at:
- Master and apply company HR policies, with a focus on country-specific requirements, while working closely with managers and employees.
- Lead, mentor, and coach team members to achieve goals; provide training, guidance, performance reviews, and support hiring efforts.
- Generate and analyze team reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and ensure data integrity.
- Offer constructive feedback and counseling, supporting employee development in collaboration with senior managers.
- Foster a positive work environment by sharing engagement results, responding to feedback, and communicating improvements.
- Oversee task assignments, scheduling, quality checks, escalations, and interdepartmental coordination with HR teams (Payroll, Benefits, etc).
- Perform additional tasks as required, maintain punctuality, work collaboratively, and manage deadlines effectively.
You might also have:
- 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Skilled in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, compensation, and organizational/leadership development.
- Able to exercise high discretion and independent judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel for business.
