Location: Colombia - Remote (anywhere in Colombia) Language: Advance English Schedule: Monday to Friday / 8:00 AM 5:00 PM PST Time Zone Role Summary We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to lead outbound prospecting efforts within the EdTech industry. This role focuses on identifying high‑quality prospects, executing structured outreach campaigns, and consistently booking qualified meetings with decision‑makers. The BDR will play a key role in building and expanding the sales pipeline in the U.S. K–12 market. Responsibilities Execute outbound prospecting and lead generation targeting EdTech vendors working with U.S. K–12 schools. Research and identify qualified prospects through LinkedIn, industry publications, news, and other relevant sources. Perform structured outreach via email and LinkedIn, using approved templates and messaging strategies. Assess prospect quality and ensure alignment with the ideal customer profile. Clearly communicate the company’s value proposition to prospective partners. Book virtual meetings between qualified prospects and senior business development leadership. Track all prospecting activity, outreach attempts, responses, and follow‑ups in HubSpot CRM. Manage ongoing follow‑up campaigns and nurture leads until they are ready to be handed off. Participate in regular progress reviews and planning meetings. Contribute to the continuous improvement of outreach strategies and lead generation processes. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Lead Generation, or a similar B2B role. Proven track record of success in outbound prospecting and meeting booking. Strong understanding of SaaS solutions and B2B sales environments. Experience working with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred). Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). High level of organization and attention to detail. Strong research skills and ability to evaluate prospect quality. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. Comfortable working in a goal‑driven, performance‑focused environment. Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting; familiarity with Sales Navigator is a plus. Work Setup Requirements To perform this role effectively, you must have: A quiet home office space to work optimally. A stable internet connection (minimum 100 MB). A laptop/desktop with updated software. A secondary backup internet option to ensure reliability.
