At Sony Pictures, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Production Latin America & US Hispanic team. As Senior Vice President & Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and growing our SPT Latin America and USH Television Production business.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of 25+ staff who develop, produce, and coproduce Spanish language programming for the Latin America/USH market.
- Oversee all series development projects, deal development, sales, content, and technical operations.
- Collaborate with the SPT Distribution team to maximize exploitation of library and new programming.
- Provide Latin American and US Hispanic regional market expertise and advise management on relevance and appropriateness of programming needs and other content issues.
- Maintain relationships with key regional talent, networks, and production partners.
- Have direct P&L responsibility, including creating and managing approved annual budget and 3-year plan.
- Minimum 10 years of TV production experience, with at least 8 years of experience managing large teams in different offices.
- Experience working with multinational companies.
- Frequent travel required (Miami, Latin America region, LA, London, etc.).
- Strong business skills to manage P&L (business plans and budgets).
- Strong bilingual, written and oral communication skills, in Spanish and English.
- Understanding and appreciation for Latin American culture and television programming.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
