Key Responsibilities Review specification (User Stories/Test plans/Test cases) and design documents (PDDs/BRDs/Process maps). Familiarity with backend testing using various tools to test backend DBs, APIs, etc. Be familiar with User story and documentation structure. Create test cases, test plans, user stories, and bug tickets when needed. Review and maintain test plans and test cases with the aid of developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. Create a culture of transparency, ownership, collaboration, accountability, and quality. Create regression, load, and stress tests and execute them. Keep automation of test cases at the forefront of the product to streamline testing later. Report, manage, and track bugs in our applications, prioritize through the use of Jira. Think outside of the front end and consider negative test cases without digging into edge cases that provide no benefit to test. Perform minor and major tests, including end‑to‑end testing with proper documented feedback for the team. Request test data sets to cover pre‑agreed test scenarios and manage the data to ensure it is still viable/usable at the point of testing. Key technologies to test include Salesforce, UiPath, Workato, Work Relay, Web APIs, and CRMs. Requirements 3+ years of experience as a QA tester. Technical background is a must – knowledge of code/software development/automation frameworks, including frontend and backend testing. Mid‑advanced level familiarity with backend testing and tools. Familiarity with testing methodology (test cases, test plans, regression testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, end‑to‑end testing). Ability to understand systems, translate specification documents, and convert them to test documents. Ability to read code logically so that a bug ticket contains enough detail for developers. Experience using Jira/Azure DevOps or the like; able to raise bug tickets and express them concisely. Experience in an Agile and fast‑paced environment with multiple projects running concurrently. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work autonomously. Critical thinking and attention to detail. Knowledge of automation project methodology would be advantageous. Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
