Welcome to Famvia Travel , a family-first travel company We are on a mission to help our clients enjoy a stress-free family vacation. We have curated an experience that helps families plan, book, and earn cash back on their trip. As our startup grows, Famvia is looking for high-agency folks who want to have an immediate impact as individual contributors towards a non-linear outcome.

The Big Picture

Great content and an amazing travel booking experience do not mean a thing if no one can find us That’s where you come into play. At a high level we need you to:

  1. Define and enforce the interlinking process across all of our content.
  2. Build our programmatic SEO strategy.
  3. Execute ranking and link building campaigns.
  4. Manage on-site and off-site SEO campaigns (however many there are at one time).
  5. Know your #s. You must know trends, top travel-related searches, where we rank for target keywords and more. Thoroughly understand your KPIs and our positions are mission-critical for the role.
  6. Test freely. You are the expert and you have room for trial and error. Use industry-standard tools to refine our strategy until you have perfected our approach.
  7. Analyze and recommend. You have our attention when you are in a daily standup and say we could grab X% market share by doing XYZ.
  8. Identify reasons why certain pages are not ranking and help the content team understand how to better optimize.
  9. Take care of the little details like canonical URL, metadata, and of course structured data.

Ideal Candidate & Requirements

  1. SEMRush certification is a must while Google Analytics and ahrefs certifications are a plus .
  2. You must know GSC inside and out (and how to use the API to index new pages).
  3. You should deeply understand critical SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata.
  4. You must be able to demonstrate and show your prior success in link building, improving SERPs, increasing inbound organic search traffic, and more.
  5. Did you wake up from a dream last night and wrote down 3 new keywords to try (that ahrefs.com should have suggested but did not)? Awesome.
  6. Solid knowledge on how to execute a programmatic SEO strategy that does not use AI. Btw, while AI has its place and we use it in some aspects, we do not use AI at large across the company when creating our 1,000+ word guides, reviews, and other content pillars.
  7. You really should understand structured data and how we can best use this to our advantage to rank our destination landing pages, a massive guide, news article, and more.
