Strategic Partner Development Manager

About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Strategic Partner Development Manager to join our team at Equinix. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing Regional partner relationships to achieve channel/company new bookings and enterprise new logo growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate prospective partner's products and services, relevant competencies, and geographic coverage
- Evaluate partner competencies and qualifications, including customer base, services offered, and sales team
- Communicate Sales Revenue Expectations (ROE) and onboarding plan, and confirm agreement on communication during sales pursuits
- Selectively engage Channel Marketing and coordinate development of initial go-to-market and first deal strategy
- Identify and establish contact with initial sponsor within prospective partners, and manage long-term relationships
- Ensure designation of Executive sponsors and educate partners on value of Equinix platform
- Participate in Regional Joint Business Planning and deal tagging/tracking process, and have joint funnel oversight
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven success in channel sales for an internet, network, data center, hyperscaler or cloud-based product or service provider, preferred
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Advanced English language skills
