About the Role

As a Senior Android Developer at Trustonic, you will be part of our Product Development team responsible for building our Android Phone Protect Application. You will work closely with internal and external technical customers and product teams to deliver market-leading applications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing new features and bug fixes for our Android Phone Protect Application;
  • Leading development and implementation of custom features used by the Phone Protect Platform;
  • Collaborating with the Android Tech Lead, Product Manager, and other technical experts to deliver feature-rich applications;
  • Working with QA Engineers to constantly improve product quality;
  • Tracking and resolving product defects;
  • Providing L3 support efforts.

We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in software platforms, applications, products, and services. You should have a deep understanding of Android OS and be comfortable communicating with both internal and external partners.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered applications;
  • In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java programming languages;
  • Strong understanding of CS fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures;
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills;
  • Familiarity with reactive programming paradigms;
  • Experience with modern Android architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture);
  • Knowledge of best practices for mobile security and performance optimization;
  • Good familiarity with revision control, build, CI, and code review tools like git, plus extensive use of confluence products for collaboration with others.

You should also be able to excel in a demanding environment, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working within a medium-sized company in a fluid and dynamic environment.
