As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust, responsive, and user-friendly applications that meet our high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions and design client-side and server-side architecture.
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design with great attention to detail.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code and re-use components to keep the code clear.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed.
- Create security and data protection settings and build features and applications with a responsive design.
- Write technical documentation and work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Understanding of Android Porting and Build process.
- 5+ years of experience in Native apps development and strong experience with Video Processing.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient Android Apps using Android SDK, Java, Kotlin, Jetpack components, SQLite Database, MVVM Architecture.
Requirements:
- Own computer (relevant software and subscriptions provided).
- Excellent English verbal and written language proficiency (C1-C2 in CEFR Scale).
- Access to a quiet work area at home with reliable internet (50 Mbps or more).
Salary and Benefits: The base salary for this position is estimated to be $4,500 - $6,500 per month, depending on experience and location. This is a full-time contractor position, and the schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The company offers a remote work setup, allowing you to work from home in Colombia.
