About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team in the United States. This role involves contributing to the development, maintenance, and scaling of robust, high-performance applications using PHP and related frameworks.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using PHP and related frameworks such as Laminas or Laravel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Lead and mentor other developers in the team.
- Develop scalable and secure database solutions using MySQL / MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
- Integrate web services using REST, XML, and SOAP technologies.
- Build dynamic AJAX applications, including parsing and rendering JSON and XML.
- Ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable front-end implementations using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Oversee the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Create and maintain software architecture and design documents.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in LAMP (Linux, Apache / NGINX, MySQL / MariaDB, PHP) stack development.
- Professional hands-on experience with PHP frameworks like Laminas, Laravel, or similar.
- Strong technical skills in Linux, Apache / NGINX, and database design.
- Solid understanding of web service integration technologies (REST, XML, SOAP).
- Proficiency in AJAX, JSON, and XML processing.
- Expertise in front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams.
- Experience in process modeling and familiarity with code / release management tools.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- English proficiency at C1 (Advanced) level or higher.
Salary Range
$20-$30 per hour
