About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Mas Global. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in solving complex problems and answering questions related to existing system behavior and system enhancements/fixes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze user stories, technical design, and business logic to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Participate in story estimations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop approach ideation.
  • Participate in system implementation projects, including requirements documentation, system configuration, test documentation or execution, issue identification, and resolution.
  • Oversee functional test plans and acceptance criteria to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
  • Execute and analyze core system functional tests to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform analysis and document data mappings for external system integrations to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Analyze, triage, and help answer escalated UAT and production issues and questions to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Assist with internal training and release elevation to ensure team members are equipped to support system functionality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, engineering, or business-related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience as a business system, product, technical, or data analyst.
  • 2+ years of software system development experience, with primary focus in cloud technologies (preferably AWS).
  • 2+ years of experience working in an agile team; familiar with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with SQL, Linux, data comparison and analysis, and API documentation tools.
  • Ability to independently analyze complex data-centric issues and communicate possible root causes.
  • Desire to dig into problems and collaborate with product owners, other analysts, and developers to resolve complex system issues.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in the Advisory or Fintech industry is a plus.
