Key Responsibilities- Conduct contract compliance audits for large suppliers, utilizing advanced audit concepts and proprietary tools/reports to examine client accounts payable financial data.
- Identify variances and/or errors in procurement and payment processes to recover revenue, and understand, manipulate, and analyze client electronic data (primarily in Excel or Access).
- Review contracts, agreements, paperwork, and electronic documents to identify potential missed opportunities in vendor funding, and inspect and evaluate client financial information to audit and analyze business operations.
- Find, support, and document audit and claims operations, produce claims using appropriate audit concepts, and provide vendors with claim back-up information.
- Package claims for vendors and/or clients, conduct buyer, contract, and document pulls as required, and understand and follow overall audit compliance by adhering to specific audit guidelines and meeting audit deadlines.
- Provide insight and recommendations for audit process improvements, and contribute to the success of the organization by helping others accomplish job results, learning new skills needed by the team, and finding new ways to help the team.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in financial areas.
- 3-5 years related experience, with a preference for 2+ years of related experience in an office environment.
- Computer proficiency in Excel and/or Access is a must, and preference given to candidates with database knowledge (dbase or SQL environment).
- Experience in retail or grocery procurement, and A/P processing is a plus.
