Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Vantage Specialty Chemicals is a leading supplier of naturally derived specialty ingredients and formulations that cater to the evolving needs of industrial and consumer markets. Our company is on the move, and we're looking for a motivated and results-driven English speaker to join our global sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day transactional sales for a dynamic portfolio of accounts, adding, sustaining, and re-engaging accounts as needed to drive growth objectives.
  2. Achieve a high number of outbound sales calls with new and existing accounts in North America to drive new sales opportunities and minimize account churn.
  3. Identify and investigate customer pain points, qualifying and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs profitably.
  4. Probe customer objections and proactively resolve or escalate issues that may be impacting the total Vantage customer experience.
  5. Develop and share knowledge of company products and services with customers, providing features, benefits, and competitive comparisons.
  6. Drive and close price increases while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  7. Plan and prioritize work management to maximize selling time and margin returns.
  8. Capture all customer interactions and competitive insights in Dynamics CRM in a timely manner.
  9. Present activity and sales results to manager on a weekly basis, highlighting successes, challenges, and action plans to drive sales growth.

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, as well as interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
  2. Strong phone and video presence, with the ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative in a sales environment.
  3. Ability to persuade, negotiate, and sell while acting with flexibility and confidence.
  4. High perseverance, with the ability to overcome customer concerns and close sales opportunities.
  5. A meticulous eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring the right information is conveyed in a professional manner.
  6. Ability to anticipate, prioritize, and react to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with a high sense of urgency within established timelines.
  8. Adaptive learning skills to execute the corporate strategy and adjust as necessary to achieve growth targets in assigned markets.
  9. Strong team-player with the ability to manage relationships with various internal departments.
  10. Effective technology skills, with the ability to learn and navigate various systems and tools with ease.
  11. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as chemistry or chemical engineering.
  12. 0-2 years of professional work experience in sales or a related position.
