Job Overview

Higher Heights for America, a leading national organization dedicated to harnessing the political power of Black women, seeks a highly experienced Director of Digital Engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, content creation, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Email Program Management: Plan, execute, and manage daily branded email content.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement priorities for 13 social media platforms, creating compelling content across various channels.
  • Engagement and Growth: Run campaigns to grow social media audiences and convert them into members and donors.
  • Content Creation: Draft creative emails and social media posts, adapting writing style across platforms.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Establish regular reporting to inform leadership of key metrics and performance.
  • Livestreaming and Events: Oversee live streaming events and develop content for membership engagement and training portals.
  • Team Management: Support and manage a team of 1-3 people.

Requirements

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in email writing and digital media, preferably in a fundraising-based program.
  • Expert knowledge of online fundraising and email best practices.
  • Able to handle multiple projects at once, work well under deadlines, and understand that digital work isn't limited to traditional office hours.
  • Knowledge of 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 organizations and experience building power with both types of organizations.
  • Commitment to gender and racial justice and social justice values.

Benefits

  • The salary range for this nonexempt role is $90,000-$110,000, and it offers a competitive benefits package.
