Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely production of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with related schedules and analyses.
- Engage in comprehensive month-end processes, including general accounting records and general ledger maintenance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Oversee additional financial reports and analytical tasks such as intercompany balance reconciliations, monthly accruals, and journal entry logs.
- Work alongside the CFO to establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, conduct variance reporting, and manage other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Perform analyses of monthly balance sheets, income statements, and budget variances.
- Prepare and/or review necessary ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Manage fixed assets, including monthly reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
- Provide insights on financial reports during management reviews of business strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- University degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration, with a preference for candidates holding or pursuing a professional accounting designation (such as CA, CPA, CMA).
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in team management is advantageous.
- Financial reporting experience is beneficial (e.g., preparation of consolidations, financial statements, etc.).
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
