About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at ITT, Inc. as a Business Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our market share in the assigned zone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support to our customers and distributors, ensuring effective communication and resolution of their needs.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of the market and our products to drive sales growth.
  • Database Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of our installed base of pumps in the assigned zone, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Offer Preparation: Prepare and present Baseline Pumps, Spares, and Services offers, as well as interchangeability spares reports, to customers and prospects.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with the Projects Sales Area to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned region.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide direct and continuous support to end-users, clarifying RPDs and required spare parts, and cataloging them in customer databases.
  • Maintenance Plans: Proactively participate in customers' maintenance plans, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Parts Agreements: Promote and execute parts agreements, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of spare parts.
  • Equipment Standards: Work with customers to standardize equipment and ensure compliance with Goulds/Bornemann/Rheinhutte standards.
  • Access and Influence: Obtain permanent access to customer facilities and influence purchasing decisions to secure sales opportunities.
  • Plant Shutdowns: Proactively participate in customers' plant shutdowns to identify new business opportunities and increase sales.
  • Material Verification: Verify that all materials supplied meet technical and commercial requirements, as indicated in purchase orders.
  • HSE Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and regulations.
  • Commercial Guidelines: Familiarize yourself with and adhere to IP500 Commercial Guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in similar positions.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of rotative equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps, assembly, and packaged process components.
