The Opportunity

Abbott is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Health Solutions Executive to join our team in Bogota. As a key member of our Core Lab Division, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion within the designated region/country.

We are empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Our diagnostics instruments provide lab results for millions of people every day.

The successful candidate will be accountable for executing growth strategies, optimizing business growth and profitability, and providing end-to-end digital health solutions with intelligent insights to enable healthcare providers to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new business within assigned districts, leveraging consultative strategic team selling to understand customer needs and pain points.

• Set and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, managing sales budgets and resources.

• Focus on C-Suite value driver discussions, including population/community health, merger and acquisitions, remote patient monitoring, and risk stratification.

• Identify new opportunities for growth by focusing on end-to-end healthcare improvements as primary value drivers for in and outside the lab.

• Be knowledgeable about industry trends, changing market regulations, and healthcare policy within defined customer segments.

• Lead and execute complex contract negotiations, creating strong territory and strategic account plans to drive sales growth.

• Review account activity, anticipate customer needs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in medical, life sciences, IT, or medical technology.

• Fluent in English and the local language.

• 2-4 years of sales experience, with a demonstrated ability to align and integrate diverse business teams and functions.

• Preferred sales experience and knowledge of the Diagnostic environment, involving multiple levels of decision makers and the understanding of a complex selling cycle.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed environment.
