Job Function Summary: The Production Support Engineer will provide direct technical support to maintain and continuously improve equipment, process, and facilities. This role is responsible for the professional supervision of production area equipment and machinery, planning maintenance, ensuring scheduled activities are executed, and organizing electrical trainings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Supervision: Professional supervision of equipment and machinery in the production area to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Maintenance Planning: Planning and coordination of maintenance activities to support continuous production and minimize downtime.
  3. Scheduled Activities: Ensuring the execution of scheduled maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and optimize production.
  4. Electrical Trainings: Organizing and delivering electrical trainings to other employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Troubleshooting: Collaborating with suppliers, technical staff, and operators to resolve technical problems and improve processes.
  6. Process Improvement: Analyzing and improving technical processes, production machines, and equipment to increase efficiency and quality.
  7. Quality and Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards to meet regulatory requirements.
  8. Installation and Commissioning: Installing, assembling, and commissioning production equipment and lines to ensure smooth operation.
  9. Technical Support: Providing technical support to technicians in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
  10. Compliance: Ensuring all job activities are performed in compliance with company guidelines and policies.
  11. Issue Reporting: Reporting any difficulties in understanding or following guidelines to the manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. NCs and CAPA Investigations: Completing non-conformance reports (NCs) and corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) investigations as required.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, such as electrical, electronics, or mechatronics.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in engineering roles with responsibility in manufacturing processes.
  3. Industrial Processes: Experience or knowledge of industrial processes with automation.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  5. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. General Knowledge: General knowledge of mechanical systems.
  2. Mechanical Drawings: Understanding of mechanical drawings.
  3. Continuous Improvement Methodologies: Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  4. Regulated Environment: Desirable experience working in a FDA-regulated environment.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. Industrial Machines: Knowledge of industrial machines with automation (PLC).
  2. PLC Programming: Knowledge of PLC programming, failure analysis, modification, and improvement of existing programs.
  3. HMI Knowledge: Knowledge of HMI (human-machine interface) and programming with Factory Talk View.
  4. Servo Drives: Knowledge of servo drives, including Omron Sigma 2 and Rockwell Kinetics 6000.
  5. Electrical Circuit Drawings: Understanding of electrical circuit drawings.
  6. Windows Operating Systems: Administrator knowledge of Windows operating systems (Win XP and above) and network.
  7. PC Hardware: PC hardware knowledge, including maintenance, upgrade, and assembly.
  8. SQL Database: Knowledge of SQL database management, including restore and backup.
  9. VMWare Workstation: Knowledge of VMWare Workstation and virtual machine management.
  10. Cognex Vision System: Experience with Cognex vision system setup, programming, failure analysis, and modification.
  11. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills.
  12. English Language: Good English language skills.
