Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Sourcing Operations team in Bogotá, Colombia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management, with a proven track record of driving cost savings and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Support Category Managers in identifying stakeholders, developing sourcing strategies, and executing projects, ensuring stakeholder input is considered in the bidding process.
  • Engage with stakeholders throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process, preparing stage gate documentation and supporting sourcing initiatives.
  • Analyze and define category spend baselines and profiles, including risk assessments and SRM strategies, in collaboration with Category Managers.
  • Develop Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies aligned with Category Managers, ensuring proper documentation and supporting supplier screening and selection processes.
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing projects, participating in internal and external analysis, performing supplier selection and fact-based negotiations, and tracking forecasted vs. actual savings according to the Value Tracking Process.
  • Interface between Procurement and product development, planning, and supply teams, providing insights on procurement analytics and data, and communicating procurement data insights and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with a recognized qualification in procurement being an asset.
  • Fluent Spanish and English language skills, with Portuguese being a plus.
  • 2-3 years' experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management, preferably in indirect categories, such as Marketing, HR & Business Services, R&D, IT Services, and Capital, Construction, and Facilities Services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tech-savviness, stakeholder focus, flexibility, leadership, and collaboration skills, with experience working with procurement-related platforms.
