About the RoleThis is a great opportunity to join our team as we continue to grow and expand our operations. As an IT Desktop Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing prompt and professional helpdesk support to employees in the LATAM region, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and escalating complex cases when necessary.
- Maintaining and monitoring network infrastructure, servers, and systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Creating and managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, and implementing security measures.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations, and coordinating with external vendors for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and support.
- Providing exceptional helpdesk support efforts, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- A university degree in Engineering Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish is essential; Portuguese is preferred.
- English is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in an IT-related field, with multi-regional experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Meraki, Cisco, M365, Entra ID, Azure, and Email Security highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate a plus.
- You must reside in Paraguay.
- Approximately 25% travel to other Cremer locations in LATAM may be required.
Peter Cremer North America, LP offers a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.
