About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Bureau Reporting Specialist to join our team at Sezzle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our credit bureau disputes process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and respond to disputes submitted by customers through internal channels or on behalf of customers by the credit bureaus
  • Research, develop and build process improvements for responding to credit bureau disputes
  • Investigate and respond to CFPB, Attorney General, and other state agencies complaints
  • Lead projects designed to enhance credit reporting and disputes processes
  • Maintain current knowledge of FCRA, Metro2, and other regulatory guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years experience in a credit bureau-related role
  • CDIA certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days
  • Familiarity with Metro2, e-Oscar, and FCRA guidelines
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to change
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to self-motivate with little oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fintech, banking, or financial services experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • CDIA certification
  • Experience with credit bureau dispute processing with Canada accounts is a plus
  • Fintech, banking, or financial services experience
