Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team in the Americas region. This is a crucial role that will involve coordinating the Local Statutory Accounts process and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with external accounting firms to review their work, ensure approval, and submit local Financial Statements.
- Manage the audit process with internal stakeholders, interact with auditors to address their inquiries, and meet audit deadlines.
- Proactively manage and analyze financial data during month-end closings, including profit and loss and balance sheet accounts, monitor postings on specific topics, recommend adjustments/corrections as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Master's degree in Accounting and Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an accounting department, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong understanding of general accounting rules and principles.
- Experience collaborating with auditors, ideally from the Big Four.
