About the Role:
As a Senior Collections Manager at adidas, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our Order to Cash (O2C) process. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality services for Finance and Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of credit and collections professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance appraisal guidance to ensure excellent team management.
- Oversee the credit, customer billing, cash applications, collections, and dispute management processes, ensuring seamless customer and price data management.
- Drive continuous improvement in the O2C team by introducing Lean principles and developing team members to enhance process efficiency.
- Project manage the implementation of technology solutions to support business needs.
- Manage customer relationships, resolving problems and conducting root cause analysis to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with partner Finance departments and other stakeholders to manage support requests and provide recommendations for O2C technology and process improvements.
- Facilitate reviews of the accounts receivable position with sales and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Act as an escalation point for process-related issues, providing expert guidance and support.
- Work with stakeholders to provide recommendations for O2C technology and process improvements.
- Manage process and improvement-focused projects for O2C, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls over work performed, ensuring compliance with adidas standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in End-to-End processes, specifically for Credit and Collections activities
- Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis
- Proven work experience in people management, with the ability to manage a medium-sized team
- Experience in a Shared Service environment is considered a plus
