About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Director to join our team at Bizagi. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering for our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of our PaaS platform, including system setup and administration, deployment and upgrades, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, and disaster recovery.
  • Develop and deploy best practices for managing cloud operations, assist in architecture development, and lead the development and deployment of cloud-based applications using Azure's PaaS offerings.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand customer needs and pain points, and ensure our PaaS solutions meet customer expectations in terms of performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Continuously improve the customer experience by monitoring and optimizing PaaS solutions.
  • Lead a team of Azure specialists, architects, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Mentor team members and provide career development opportunities, prioritizing and facilitating a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and systems thinking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience in cloud computing-based services architecture, technical design, and implementations, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IAAS), Platform-as-a-Service (PAAS), and Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) delivery models.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Extensive experience in technical engineering, architecture, and/or development roles.
  • Extensive experience working in a large IT environment in support of IT service and business processes, with a proven track record of driving large-scale changes.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams delivering full stack platform support across data centers and private and public cloud.
  • Containerization and orchestration, Microservices architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a minimum of 3 years leading and developing a globally distributed team.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure automation, instrumentation, and full stack technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps techniques and strategies for both application and infrastructure builds and releases.
  • Expertise in cloud engineering and operations, Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
