Job Overview

SAP SE is seeking a highly skilled Technical SAP Commerce Cloud Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for supporting customers in their adoption of SAP Commerce Cloud, providing in-depth technical knowledge of the platform, and working with partners and customers to define and assess non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Support customers in their adoption process, providing technical guidance and expertise throughout their value journey.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet customer needs, leveraging your expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud and other CX products.
  • Collaborate with partners and customers to define and assess non-functional requirements, ensuring that solutions meet customer expectations.
  • Design and implement architectures that provide the best possible solution for customers, considering factors such as maintainability and optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring successful project implementation and adherence to best practices.
  • Initiate and execute technical reviews, ensuring that solutions meet quality and security standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Java programming.
  • Deep understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud (previously Hybris) platform, including its modules, functionalities, and development environment.
  • Ability to script in Bash, Python, Perl, or Groovy.
  • Familiarity with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance requirements relevant to e-commerce.
  • Solid experience with web frameworks, with a preference for Spring.
  • Proficient in ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
  • Familiarity with SCM tools such as Git and GitHub.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server, and an understanding of database design and management.
  • Proven ability to integrate systems using JMS, web services, or ETL tools.
  • Experience in application performance tuning and a good understanding of design patterns.
  • Commitment to high-quality output in coding and testing, with experience in testing frameworks like JUnit or Spock.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in SAP Commerce Cloud, Java, or relevant fields.
  • Experience in SAP Sales & Service Cloud, SAP Customer Data Management, SAP Emarsys, or SAP CPI.
  • Knowledge or participation in Spartacus projects, or other similar tools such as Contentful.
  • Knowledge of cloud service providers like Azure.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum.
