Position Overview:

The Senior Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of equipment through a variety of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a range of tasks, including servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment as required.
  • Diagnose technical issues and propose solutions to both company and customer representatives.
  • Evaluate product requirements based on customer specifications.
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison for the customer's organization.
  • Provide comprehensive data and service reports to management.
  • Report directly to the Regional Manager and work under the supervision of a Local Lead Technician.
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware malfunctions effectively.
  • Respond promptly to any service requests from the customer.
  • Offer assistance in application usage and support to end users.
  • Conduct hardware replacements as necessary.
  • Perform tests following the implementation of solutions to ensure effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corrective hardware maintenance.
  • Familiarity with warranty repairs and OEM logistics.
  • Experience in managing assets, spare parts, and consumables.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify hardware issues.
  • Proficient in application usage and capable of assisting end users.
  • Ability to collaborate with Level 3 support to install and test solutions.
  • Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), severity levels, and industry best practices.
