Position Overview:
The role of the Senior Field Technician involves a range of responsibilities focused on the maintenance and support of advanced aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts various tasks, including servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment.
- Diagnoses technical issues and provides recommendations to company or client representatives.
- Evaluates product requirements based on customer specifications.
- Serves as the primary on-site liaison to the customer's organization.
- Delivers data and service reports as required.
- Reports directly to the Regional Manager and is supervised by a Local Lead Technician.
- Identifies and troubleshoots hardware malfunctions.
- Responds to service requests from the customer.
- Possesses training in application usage and offers assistance to end users.
- Performs hardware replacements as necessary.
- Conducts tests following the implementation of solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corrective hardware maintenance.
- Familiarity with warranty repairs and OEM logistics.
- Experience in managing assets, spare parts, and consumables.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify hardware issues.
- Trained in application usage, providing support to end users.
- Ability to collaborate with L3 teams for installation and testing of fixes.
- Understanding of SLAs, severity levels, and industry best practices.
