Job Overview

StoneX Group is seeking a highly skilled Trading Application Support Analyst to join their team in Bogota. As a key member of the support team, you will be responsible for providing level 1 support for trading systems, working closely with global support teams to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support for trading systems, including incident creation, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to lead problem resolution and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical support documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
  • Investigate user queries, analyze log files, and interact with front, middle, and back office teams to resolve issues.
  • Escalate urgent problems to internal or external resources as needed.
  • Work closely with IT Release Management, QA, Dev, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth software and script rollouts.
  • Perform daily run book activities, provide shift turnover reports, and conduct post-release testing.
  • Interact with offshore teams, communicate issues effectively, and maintain a high level of technical expertise.
Requirements
  • Graduate-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an application support role, preferably in a trading environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience in supporting multi-tiered applications.
  • Fluent English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of technical expertise.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, automation, and scripting languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Linux command shell navigation, PowerShell, or Jenkins is desirable.
