Job Title: Data Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Technical Architect to join our team. As a Data Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the business needs of our clients. Your expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, and data governance will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integration and consistency
  • Provide technical guidance and support to data integration teams
  • Participate in design, source-to-target mapping, metadata creation, review, and testing phases of data projects
  • Work with ETL development teams to communicate data designs, review data flow, and resolve data issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation and ensure data rules and definitions are consistent across departments
  • Anticipate and resolve data definition and integration issues for cross-functional groups
  • Manage, monitor performance usage, and administer analytic servers and BI reporting tools
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years overall IT experience, including 7 years of data architecture
  • 7+ years of IT experience of hand-on DA experience on small to medium complexity
  • 7+ years experience with Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, and data governance
  • 7+ years experience with Data Modeling tools such as Erwin, ER Studio, or SAP Power Designer
  • 7+ years experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.), highly proficient in SQL language, SQL performance tuning, and DDL scripting
  • Strong SQL skills
  • IT Experience in architecting solutions via various Business Intelligence suites of reporting and developer products (i.e. SAP Business Objects, Qlikview, Essbase, B4Hana, SAC)
  • Experience of Application, Data Warehouse, and Master Data Management environments
  • API/Service specification capability - ability to take from design to specification details
Desired Experience:
  • Architect Business Intelligence solutions using technologies such as Tableau, QIik, Microsoft Power BI, SAP Analytics, and Google Analytics
  • Strong understanding of ETL development pipeline using tools such as Informatica, SAP, IBM, and API platforms
  • Experience with transactional data management platforms in the cloud such as Azure and AWS
  • Experience with Big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Impala, etc.)
