We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data architectures that help our customers leverage their data to drive business insights.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery: Collaborate with customers and partners to define and implement data architectures, including Data Lake, Lake House, and Data Mesh.
- Solutions: Deliver on-site technical assessments with partners and customers, including participating in pre-sales visits and creating packaged Data & Analytics service offerings.
- Innovate: Engage with customers' business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a data-driven enterprise, and develop new artifacts that promote code reuse.
- Expertise: Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Amazon EMR, and Amazon Redshift.
- Leadership: Lead data architecture and data engineering teams to deliver project implementations successfully.
- 7+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience.
- 5+ years of database experience, including SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Kinesis.
- 7+ years of consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience.
- 5+ years of software development with object-oriented language experience.
- 3+ years of cloud-based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system experience.
- 7+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex, and large-scale project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Teradata systems.
