Are you a seasoned data professional with a passion for solving complex data challenges? Do you have experience with Data Lake/Hadoop and a knack for leading high-impact projects that leverage the latest data analytics technologies? Would you like to work with a dynamic team at Amazon Web Services Colombia S.A.S. to help customers unlock business insights from their data?

As a Data Architect, you will collaborate with our customers and partners to develop, deliver, and implement data analytics projects that drive business value. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping our customers design and implement data architectures that meet their evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Architecture and Engineering: Help customers define and implement data architectures that meet their business requirements, including Data Lake, Lake House, and Data Mesh designs.
  2. Solutions Development: Deliver technical assessments and solutions to customers and partners, including pre-sales visits, requirement gathering, and packaged service offerings.
  3. Innovation and Leadership: Engage with customers' business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision for a data-driven enterprise, and lead data architecture and engineering teams to deliver project implementations successfully.
  4. Expertise and Collaboration: Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help customers learn and use AWS services such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Amazon EMR, and Amazon Redshift.

This is a customer-facing role that requires travel to client locations and delivering professional services as needed, up to 50% of the time.
