">We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team in Bogota. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for driving the technical onboarding process and managing our partner relationships.
">The main areas of focus for this role include:
">- Onboarding Partners: Ensure new partners have all the training and tools they need to succeed by providing ongoing product support and training via webinars and on-site visits.
- Partner Relationship Management: Manage a subset of our key international partners to ensure they efficiently utilize our services and tools, including backend integrations, customer support tools, and end-user features.
We're looking for high-powered talent with a passion for technology, a consultative and entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to drive and manage relationships internally across departments and externally with our partners.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Provide Ongoing Support: Deliver valuable ongoing product support and training to partners via webinars and on-site visits.
- Champion Partner Requirements: Gather feedback from the field to improve our product and processes, and advocate for partner requirements.
- Represent at Trade Shows: Represent Alarm at various trade shows and events.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Product Features: Demonstrate in-depth and current understanding of all existing and new product release features to respond to partner inquiries properly.
- Create Training Materials: Develop training materials like presentations, technical guides, and videos to facilitate the ongoing training process for partners.
- Test New Features: Conduct local and remote tests for new features in close cooperation with Product Managers and Quality Engineers.
- Drive Adoption of Key Tools: Drive the adoption of key tools that have an impact on the business operation of partners.
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Sciences is preferred.
- Effective Communication: The ability to communicate in English with vendors and internal teams, both in writing and verbally, in a clear, professional manner.
- Language Skills: Other languages are a plus.
- Self-Starter: A self-starter who can operate independently.
- Technology Expertise: Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology.
- Strong People Skills: Strong people skills; natural customer service orientation and disposition. Candidate must enjoy working with clients and supporting internal customers in the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Time Management: The ability and commitment to meet deadlines, even during high-volume periods.
- Flexible Attitude: Flexible and positive attitude that fosters team spirit.
- Travel Requirements: Availability to travel up to 50% within the LATAM region.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with intrusion detection systems, access control, home automation, or video over IP is a plus.
