Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
adidas GBS is committed to delivering exceptional services in Finance and Accounting. We are establishing a new GBS center in Bogotá aimed at supporting the LAM region across various processes.
The Credit and Collections department is tasked with executing daily operations such as Dunning and Collection, Dispute Management, and Credit Management. The team ensures timely and quality delivery of all activities while also supporting projects focused on process standardization, tool implementation, and other special initiatives. This role involves being a general functional expert responsible for overseeing processes and service delivery with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee team management, including coaching, training, motivation, and performance evaluation, while fostering team development.
- Manage credit, customer invoicing, cash applications, collections, and dispute resolution processes, along with customer and pricing data management.
- Promote continuous improvement within the O2C team by applying Lean principles and enhancing team member capabilities.
- Lead project management efforts for the deployment of technological solutions.
- Maintain customer relationships, addressing issues and conducting root cause analyses.
- Support requests from partner Finance departments and other business stakeholders.
- Facilitate the review of accounts receivable positions for customers with sales and finance teams.
- Act as the escalation point for process-related challenges.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide recommendations to the O2C GPO regarding technology and process enhancements.
- Manage process improvement projects focused on O2C.
- Establish and uphold robust financial controls over the executed work.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Comprehensive understanding of Order to Cash functions.
· Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English and Spanish within a business context.
· Ability to work autonomously.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of customer focus; adept at navigating complex organizations and connecting with various functions.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
· Proactive and hands-on approach.
· A curious and growth-oriented mindset; eager to learn and explore topics beyond comfort zones.
· Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management abilities.
· Experience in team management.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in End-to-End processes specifically related to Credit and Collections.
- Experience in process improvement and root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a medium-sized team.
- Experience in a Shared Service environment is advantageous.
