Job SummaryWe are seeking a Development Manager to join our team. As a Development Manager, you will act as a servant leader, responsible for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will drive technical decisions, oversee project delivery, and ensure that our remote teams are aligned and motivated.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a diverse team of developers, fostering an environment of high performance and collaboration.
- Serve as a servant leader, supporting the team's needs and helping to remove obstacles to their success.
- Provide technical guidance and direction for AWS-based projects, making informed decisions to drive success.
- Solve complex technical challenges and advocate for best practices in architecture and development.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Implement and support Scrum and Kanban methodologies to facilitate efficient workflows and team dynamics.
- Use JIRA and JQL to manage tasks and track progress.
- Maintain strong communication with team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all levels.
- Foster a culture of feedback and open communication within the team.
- Promote best practices in CI/CD and automated testing to enhance the development process and product quality.
- Encourage team members to pursue professional development opportunities and stay current with industry trends.
- 3+ years of experience as a servant leader, building high-achieving teams.
- Technical leader for AWS teams, able to solve and drive technical decisions for the team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Experienced with Scrum, Kanban methodologies.
- Experienced with JIRA, JQL, Excel.
- Experienced as a developer.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, AWS.
- PMP a plus.
