Accounting Operations Department
The Accounting Operations Department delivers comprehensive property management accounting services to our customers, managing payables, receivables, and monthly financial processes. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring high-quality daily operations by processing bank reconciliations, owner distributions, move-in and move-out processes, and vendor documentation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate bank reconciliation processing, including unmatched transactions
- Process management fees, owner statements, and distribute funds correctly
- Manage new vendors and ensure proper W9 documentation
- Maintain company protocols and SOPs for quality control
- Oversee AP, AR, and bank reconciliation processes for Appfolio clients
Key Collaborations
- Communicate processing needs with Senior Accountant and General Accountants
- Escalate queries to Senior Accountant when needed
- Assist Senior Accountant in coaching AP Specialists and Data Entry personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles
- Proficient in MS-office or Google Suite
- Excellent English language skills
