Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth through new business opportunities in the media industry. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing new clients and strategically closing deals. They possess a strong network of existing client relationships with key decision-makers and are skilled at building and managing sales pipelines.

The Business Development Manager will be a key stakeholder in the overall performance of the business and will play a critical role in executing sales strategies. This role will report directly to the CEO.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with Refact's core service offerings.
  2. Partner with the CEO and other key leadership stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), identify growth opportunities, and execute plans to increase sales and revenues across the company.
  3. Convert qualified leads into new opportunities by focusing on Refact's core suite of capabilities and services.
  4. Generate new business by fostering new and existing relationships with clients.
  5. Research and identify market opportunities that maximize the sales pipeline and conversion of new business.
  6. Partner with client services, development, and creative departments to determine technical feasibility of projects and ensure sales opportunities convert to new business opportunities.
  7. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of sales presentations and other marketing materials utilized for new business purposes.
  8. Represent Refact as a thought leader in the industry by marketing at conferences, speaking events, and participating in various networking forums.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of B2B sales/business development experience in marketing and advertising in the media industry.
  2. Proven track record of generating new business in the digital, creative, and marketing space.
  3. Proficiency in using standard CRM systems, email marketing, and mass outreach tools.
  4. Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
  5. Logical, yet creative thinking with adept problem-solving abilities.
  6. Experience in industries beyond the media industry is a plus.
