Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth through new business opportunities in the media industry. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing new clients and strategically closing deals. They possess a strong network of existing client relationships with key decision-makers and are skilled at building and managing sales pipelines.
The Business Development Manager will be a key stakeholder in the overall performance of the business and will play a critical role in executing sales strategies. This role will report directly to the CEO.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with Refact's core service offerings.
- Partner with the CEO and other key leadership stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), identify growth opportunities, and execute plans to increase sales and revenues across the company.
- Convert qualified leads into new opportunities by focusing on Refact's core suite of capabilities and services.
- Generate new business by fostering new and existing relationships with clients.
- Research and identify market opportunities that maximize the sales pipeline and conversion of new business.
- Partner with client services, development, and creative departments to determine technical feasibility of projects and ensure sales opportunities convert to new business opportunities.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of sales presentations and other marketing materials utilized for new business purposes.
- Represent Refact as a thought leader in the industry by marketing at conferences, speaking events, and participating in various networking forums.
- 5+ years of B2B sales/business development experience in marketing and advertising in the media industry.
- Proven track record of generating new business in the digital, creative, and marketing space.
- Proficiency in using standard CRM systems, email marketing, and mass outreach tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Logical, yet creative thinking with adept problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in industries beyond the media industry is a plus.
