Rating Analyst

This is a unique opportunity to join S&P Global, a leading provider of credit ratings and research, as a Rating Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and evaluating creditworthiness of debt issuers and their representatives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze a portfolio of entities with support from manager and senior analyst.
- Conduct surveillance of rated debt issues and issuer's ratings.
- Demonstrate an understanding of rating principal and methodology, a working knowledge of BRC S&P ratings criteria, and aid in researching criteria development needs.
- Contribute to the analysis of credit using BRC S&P rating methodology and standards, Excel, financial models, financial data, and financial statement analysis.
- Develop and maintain a centralized source of news information, including digital media, and carry out research for industry monitoring.
- Support team in spreadsheet and database development, maintenance, and analytics.
- Coordinate with local team to ensure data is treated consistently across industries and ratings.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate studies in business-related field.
- 3-4 years of work experience in financial analysis of financial institutions.
- Advanced Microsoft office tools, mainly Advanced Excel skills.
- Advanced/bilingual English level (B2 high or C1).
