Insurance Ratings Analyst

As an Analyst, you will work with a global team to provide credit analysis of insurance companies in Latin America, leveraging your expertise in financial modeling and data analysis to contribute to the company's success.
You will be responsible for undertaking credit ratings on new rating mandates, monitoring existing ratings, and performing analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in delivering high-quality results that meet Fitch's criteria and processes.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also have the opportunity to develop your communication and interpersonal skills, working closely with senior management and presenting your findings to credit rating committees. If you have a strong finance and economics background, excellent business Spanish and English writing skills, and a deep understanding of financial statements and macroeconomic variables, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake credit ratings on new rating mandates and monitor existing ratings

- Present companies to credit rating committees
- Provide active support to senior members of the team
- Actively participate in rating committees
- Respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Publish external research
Requirements:
- Solid finance, economics, or business administration academic and professional background
- Strong credit skills
- Confident and articulate communication skills
- Excellent business Spanish and English writing skills
- Good presentation skills
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills
- Full command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Spanish and English oral and written fluency
