Scope of the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Public Relations Coordinator to enhance our marketing team. As a vital contributor to our organization, you will manage our media communications, which includes drafting press releases, organizing PR events, and nurturing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a solution-oriented mindset, capable of managing media-related challenges with composure and efficiency. A successful PR Coordinator will demonstrate outstanding communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of brand management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic PR Planning: Formulate and implement public relations strategies to maintain and elevate the brand's image and reputation.
  • Content Creation: Develop and disseminate compelling press releases, promotional social media content, and fact sheets that effectively convey our brand message.
  • Media Relations: Establish and sustain robust relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure coverage and enhance our brand visibility.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute press conferences and public events, coordinating interview requests to ensure smooth operations and impactful exposure.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to strategize and execute campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and generating positive media attention.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate the success of public relations campaigns and prepare detailed reports for management to assess impact and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Media List Management: Maintain an updated press list of key media contacts, influencers, and industry professionals to facilitate effective communication.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other related tasks as assigned to support the overall objectives of the PR and marketing teams.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse audiences. (Must have)
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. (Must have)
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or a similar role. (Must have)
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of public relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies. (Must have)
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to accept feedback and adjust to evolving circumstances and strategies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the beauty industry is highly preferred, along with a solid understanding of current trends and industry practices.
