Arup is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant to join our ESG | Sustainable Investment Advisory team in Bogotá, Colombia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing environmentally sensitive and sustainable solutions to unique engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, select, and apply domestic and international ESG standards related to pollution prevention, circular economy, decarbonization, and climate change mitigation.
- Assist in producing reports for E&S Due Diligence and Monitoring processes in Colombia and Latin America.
- Coordinate with local regulatory agencies on scope and impact of projects when necessary.
- Attend meetings with clients to address their needs and discuss environmental issues.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, biology, ecology, or environmental science-related profession.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in infrastructure projects (roads, energy, rail, ports, etc.).
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels in English and Spanish.
