The Environmental Sustainability Specialist position will be part of our Environmental, Social, and Governance | Sustainable Investment Advisory team in Colombia, providing environmentally sensitive and sustainable solutions to unique engineering challenges. The role will work to continue developing and growing the business in Colombia and the Americas South Geography, and collaborate closely with the Advisory team in San Francisco, Houston, New York, and the Americas Region.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, select, and apply domestic and international ESG standards related to pollution prevention, circular economy, decarbonization, and climate change mitigation, sustainable finance, and investments.
- Assist in producing reports for ESG Due Diligence and Monitoring processes in Colombia and Latin America.
- Coordinate with local regulatory agencies on scope and impact of projects when necessary.
- Attend meetings with clients to address their needs and discuss environmental issues.
- Support the ESG Advisory team in Colombian and Americas.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, biology, ecology, or environmental science-related profession.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in infrastructure projects (roads, energy, rail, ports, etc.).
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels in English and Spanish.
